Today I was perusing the internet and because of a search that I did I ended up on someone's blog that I didn't know. I found myself reading about the development of their little girl and how they had cut bangs that day on their 20 month old little girl and made snow ice cream and so on and so on. This woman had over 100 posts over the last 3 years and I suddenly felt really behind in my presence in cyberspace.
With Audrey turning ONE YEAR OLD on Sunday I realize more than ever how time flies and that it means more to me to write about it. For so many years I kept a journal. Boxes and boxes of them in the attic. It was always a good way to drain off the mundane in order to get to the good stuff that songs are made of. Now, if I can find 10 extra minutes in a day it's going to be spent taking a shower and not writing. It's finally time for both hygiene AND creativity. I deem it so, and have made us a blog.
Of course it will be me, sitting here, late at night, poking away at the keys and digging for new pictures of Audrey to post - but I guess I feel like this is documentation I couldn't possibly ever regret. I might even learn enough to get all fancy with it if I don't fall face first asleep at the keyboard.
Here is a little nugget photo of Audrey enjoying a meal tonight.
And thus, it is so blogged.
